The founding partners established LUDECA in 1953. In 1982, LUDECA became exclusive representative of Prüftechnik AG for the United States, the Caribbean and Venezuela. Since that time, this role has expanded to encompass marketing and support responsibilities for Prüftechnik’s entire Alignment and Condition Monitoring Divisions.

Machinery Alignment

LUDECA pioneered laser shaft-alignment technology in the U.S. market with the introduction of the legendary OPTALIGN^® system, manufactured by Prüftechnik, in Germany in 1984. Vibration Analysis

LUDECA services the vibration-analysis field with state-of-the-art portable and online condition monitoring systems, featuring VIBXPERT^® and VIBSCANNER^® vibration analyzers and balancers with the powerful OMNITREND^® software, as well as VIBNODE^® and VIBROWEB^® online condition monitoring systems.

Training & Services

LUDECA provides alignment and vibration training on site and at its state-of-the-art Miami Training Center. It also supplies high-end engineering consultation services.The company takes pride in its customer service. All repairs are performed on a 24-hour turnaround, or a free loaner system is provided to the customer upon request. All systems and accessories are always in stock so that any order can be shipped within 24 hours. LUDECA’s service facilities include a NUPIC approved calibration laboratory with NIST certified calibration equipment.LUDECA representatives provide additional support across the entire USA—including Alaska and Hawaii–as well as in the Caribbean and Venezuela
